Prayer Ministry

in the period of Lent, the forty days from Ash Wednesday to Easter Sunday (excluding Sundays) where Christians journey to the cross, considering repentance and the need we all have for Christ.

At GMC for Lent 2026 we offer a resource for prayer (click the image for the Lent 40 Prayer Point for Church Growth), and use them each day through this season.

At GMC we believe prayer is at the heart of our church. We have various prayer groups, coming together to pray for healing, the community, national and international issues. We have received many answers to prayers and occasions of healing in people’s lives.

Prayer Ministry is always available after Sunday worship for any in need, and we offer the services of a prayer chain, so if you would like prayer for any reason you can email us with your request at prayers@gillespiechurch.org or submit through this form
