Wellwood Primary School
The Scripture Union (SU) Group at Wellwood School on a Monday lunchtime has been running for over 2 years and is thoroughly enjoyed by the kids who attend and those who help to run it. Numbers and faces fluctuate, but we average about 15 each week.
We use various SU materials, with Champions Challenge about David definitely going down best. The favourite activity is icing biscuits - it’s amazing how many Bible stories you can fit that into!
We have built up really good relationships with all the children and the teachers, and feel very welcome in the school.
Please pray for those who have gone up to High School this term, and also for the future of the school which may only have 30 pupils this year.
