You will also receive a photograph of your tree.

Every tree has been individually numbered, so you will be able to tell your dinner guests that the oil in the pasta salad they are enjoying is from your own tree, or at least from one close by!

On top of all that you can look forward to a healthier lifestyle! Olive oil has high oleic acid and antioxidant contents which are known to help reduce cholesterol and blood pressure. It is an excellent source of Vitamin E and as it is easily digested it helps liver activity and to control diabetes. The Olipe oil, as an organic, extra virgin oil, is actually olive juice.  It can be used on bread instead of butter, in salads and cooking.

All profits from the “adoptions” will be returned to the centre.
The  centre, which also promotes a vigorous drug prevention programme in the communities it serves, relies on help from many professionals. A psychiatrist, G.P., social workers, occupational therapists and volunteers together form the team which allows the centre to run effectively.
Adopting a tree could be the ideal gift for any occasion – birthday, anniversary, wedding – or just a gift to show someone that you care!

Be a Good Samaritan - support an olive grove and help change a life!
You are invited to “adopt” your own Spanish olive tree for a year.

Set in the rolling hills of Northern Andalusia, the olive grove forms part of land farmed by a drug  rehabilitation and prevention centre called El Buen Samaritano. The work is supported by the European Christian Mission – www.ecmi.org
The organic extra virgin olive oil produced in this part of Spain is universally recognised as being some of the finest quality in the world. This is because of the hot, dry growing conditions which result in low yields but exceptional quality.
For a minimum contribution of only £40 you will receive a 3 litre tin of the renowned Olipe extra virgin, organic olive oil (which is produced by the local Cooperative where the centre’s harvested olives are taken). In 2004 the Cooperative received the best Organic Farming Award from the Spanish Food Industry.
