Lurking behind the shades are Philip Hunt, Derek Bottom, Stuart Landels and Ed Christie.  They were in training (in Lanzarote!) for the 2008 Highland Etape, around 81 miles through Perthshire in May, followed by a three-day charity cycle ride in September from Lands End to John O’Groats to raise funds for the Town Centre Chaplaincy project.
Fundraising for Mission, 2007/8
LATEST NEWS:  SUCCESS!!
All those who backed four mad middle-aged men on bicycles to ride from Land’s End to John O’Groats (LEJOG) on behalf of the Town Centre Ministry can now pay their dues.  The team aimed to do the trip in less than 72 hours - and they did it in just 64 hours!   An average speed of around 13.5 miles per hour - a fantastic feat by Ronnie, Ed, Stuart and Derek.  All ably supported by Derek Fett with flashing light on top...
