Our former Minister Gordon Reid has now retired to Paisley. We wish Gordon well in his retirement. He won’t be resting on his laurels, however, as he will still be giving of his experience and wisdom to other churches and leaders. The Nomination Committee has begun its search for a replacement Minister.
Our Purpose Statement:
·
To bring people to Jesus through fellowship,
·
develop them through discipleship,
·
equip them for their ministry in the church and life mission in the world, and
·
to glorify God’s name through worship.
Welcome to Gillespie Memorial Church!
Gillespie Memorial Church is part of the Church of Scotland, and is situated in Dunfermline city centre. It has a modern approach to worship, welcoming families with all ages of children (please see the Youth Church section).
Come and join us at the Coffee House Church, OohLa Cafe, 10 High Street, Dunfermline every TUESDAY evening, 5:00 - 6:30pm A chance to chill out after work with fellow Christians in a convivial atmosphere, and an opportunity to discuss the issues that affect our lives.
PAY UP!!
All those who backed four mad middle-aged men on bicycles to ride from Land’s End to John O’Groats (LEJOG) on behalf of the Town Centre Ministry can now pay their dues. The team aimed to do the trip in less than 72 hours - and they did it in just 64 hours! An average of around 13.5 miles per hour - a fantastic feat by Ronnie, Ed, Stuart and Derek. All ably supported by Derek Fett with flashing light... Read all about the trip at their blogsite, http://endtoend-ridersonthestorm.blogspot.com/
Would anyone willing to give one Sunday a month after the service to help run the bookstall please contact Dorothy Nicholl or the Webmaster.
Thanks!
