CYCLING
Cycling has long been a favourite pastime among members of Gillespie Church. Four intrepid cyclists recently did the Land’s End to John O’Groats (LEJOG) run in an incredibly short time, but for most of us it’s a more gentle affair.
A number of Church members go out for a cycle ride on Saturday mornings between 9.00 am and
12.30-ish, which includes a coffee stop (perhaps the main point of the exercise...) - getting fit through fun and fellowship.

GILLESPIE BIKERS
The bikers have established a fellowship on a Wednesday night! A mountain bike cycle is taking place each Wednesday night leaving Kwik Fit on Halbeath Road at 19.15 and climbing 'Col du Cleish ' (About 16 miles round trip). All you need is a helmet, lights (in the winter), and a bike.
Email derek.bottom@btinternet.com if you can make it. Come and see the wondrous beauty of Perthshire by the light of the setting sun! (or catch the northern lights if you're really slow...).

Etape de Tour 2010

This year’s cycle challenge is to complete the route of the Caledonia Etape – 81 miles through the stunning Perthshire countryside.
No prior experience necessary.
See Shirley to find out more.
