The famous Alpha course helps people to look at and think about the meaning of life
and what it’s all for, and is an ideal introduction course for those who are interested
in knowing more about the Christian faith.
This course normally runs on Sunday evenings in Gillespie Church from mid-January
each year. The current Alpha course started on 15th January 2012 and runs until
1st April. Each of the Sunday evening meetings (except 11th March) starts at 6 pm
(contact Peter Mackwell).
Freedom in Christ explores different aspects of Christianity in more depth, and is
an excellent introduction to the larger concepts. This course runs on Sunday evenings
from September to December (contact Iain Sutherland).
The Art of Hearing God course is in many ways a refresher course in basic Christianity,
with an emphasis on prophetic giftings. This course is the first of a series of
Streams Ministry courses (www.northatlanticdreams.net/nstreams/index.php) held in
different locations in Scotland and Sweden.
