Christmas Hampers

Last year we had a tremendous response to the hamper donations, when over 65 hampers were filled and delivered.

From the feedback we received, it was obvious that each hamper was given and received with God's gracious love.  Many people said that they thought this was a wonderful way in which to show love to people closer to home.

Those involved in this operation were also happy to be given the opportunity of being able to help organise the hampers and through doing this, spread the love of Jesus.

As part of the Rough Sleepers initiative, we provide food and support to those living rough in and around the centre of Dunfermline.  This support is possible through monthly donations by congregational members.  In addition, at Christmas and Easter we host a food collection outside the Co-op supermarket in the Kingsgate Shopping Centre, encouraging shoppers to consider making a small contribution of food to those less fortunate than themselves.  This generates food to the value of over £4,000 per annum.
