Chairs and tables were transported from Tesco’s Duloch Park store,
donated from the old café area when it was demolished to allow for
expansion and refurbishment of the store. Thank you, Tesco!
The Opening Ceremony, May 2009
The Oasis Community Project is situated in the Kingsgate Centre, Dunfermline.
Thanks to the generosity of Tesco in giving us the chairs and tables from the café area in their Duloch Park store when it was refurbished. The Oasis Centre has a main seating area where you are welcome to sit, chat, enjoy your own food, play games or just sit, and also more private areas. Internet access is available by arrangement with the staff.
This is now providing a place where everyone can come and enjoy a little peace and tranquillity.

Karen Davidson, Assistant Manager of the Kingsgate Centre, cut the birthday cake and thanked all the volunteers for their work in the Centre. She wished the project a Happy 1st Birthday', and said that she was looking forward to the celebration of the second one.
THANK YOU to all who have used their gifts, time and money to support OASIS in the Kingsgate Centre.
If you would like to know more about how you could become involved, pop in, and the volunteers would be delighted to share their stories.
